FIRST SHOE PROJECT
Personalized 3D Printed Footwear - The OK Foundation @ USC
This project reimagined footwear as fully personalized, digitally crafted objects. In collaboration with my team members in the OK Foundation, I designed a series of six custom boots based on individual wearers' aesthetic desires and ergonomic needs. Each boot was modeled to be directly 3D printed and worn by the foundation’s members, merging speculative design with functional utility.
My role:
- Led concept sketching & volumetric exploration in Gravity Sketch
- Developed detailed 3D models & renders in Blender
- Prepared and refined files for additive manufacturing, ensuring real-world fit and wearability
Focus areas:
- Human-centered customization
- Iterative prototyping & scale testing
- Translating digital sculpting into functional printed footwear
